St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Connections Educational Series Presents
Advantages of Making Advanced Decisions Regarding Your Health Care
Centralia – Did you know that your health care provider needs consent to provide medical treatment? Certain health problems may keep you from being able to consent to such medical treatment. An Advanced Directive provides written medical treatment instructions by the patient before he becomes unable to consent to treatment.
St. Mary’s Good Samaritan will host a free educational seminar on Thursday, January 19 at noon at the Centralia Recreation Complex in Centralia, featuring representatives from Palliative Care, Pastoral Care and Social Services for St. Mary’s Good Samaritan. This educational seminar will help you understand why it is a good idea to have an Advanced Directive. Professionals will also be on hand to help you complete an Advanced Directive form free of charge.
A free healthy lunch will be served. Although it’s free to attend, to ensure an accurate count for lunch, please register by calling 1.888.257.6098.
This event is a part of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan monthly Connections educational series.
