Breast & Cervical Cancer Program

Through the Little Egypt Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (LEBCCP), women between the ages of 35 and 64 who are uninsured or under-insured and meet specific income criteria are eligible to receive free annual screenings.  The LEBCCP funds office visits, pap tests, breast ultrasounds, colposcopies, and screening and diagnostic mammograms for women throughout the region.

Staff members schedule appointments, pay bills, and provide total case management for all clients. A new bill ensures that women who qualify for free screenings get the treatment they need if cancer is detected. Under the Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention Act, women who qualify for the program are automatically eligible for Medicaid if they are diagnosed with cancer. For more information, or to learn if you qualify for the program, call toll-free: 1-877-532-2271.
