Prenatal Refresher Class is held in the OB Classroom from 6pm to 8pm at the Mt. Vernon Campus.
This class is offered to expecting mothers and their coaches who have already given birth once (or more) and simply need a refresher session about the birthing process. During this class, you will be refreshed on what to expect while in the later stages of your pregnancy, what to expect when you come to the hospital, what to expect during labor and in the post-partum period. You will also learn about comfort measures and medications that you might receive while in the OB unit. You will also learn about the care that will be given to your newborn during its hospital stay.
