Hospital Billing & Insurance
If you are scheduled for a procedure at the hospital, please bring your insurance identification cards when you are admitted. We accept Medicare, Illinois Medicaid, and all commercial insurance plans; however, we may not be a participating (in-network) provider for your health care plan. Insurance claims are filed by staff in our Patient Processing Department as a courtesy to our patients. You will be notified if additional information is needed to complete the filing of your claim.
At any time during your hospitalization, you may contact our Patient Accounting Department to complete financial arrangements regarding your stay. If you think you may be eligible for financial assistance, we do have programs available to help you with your financial obligation.
You may receive a series of statements on the status of your account. Our Patient Processing staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your bill or any insurance that may have been filed on your behalf by the hospital.
